Money, Money & Money All Over...

‘The only truth left on this earth is money’. You can love the preceding statement or abhor it but you can’t ignore it. Minting money is the ultimate knowledge that is worshipped all over the world. The world is changing; time is tumbling and inflating its wings all around. Earlier, it was said that time is money. The vista is altered and now it is said that time is gold. Similar is the case with money, it is gripping the orb by its mammoth mouth and scintillating senses. Previously, knowledge was considered as pinnacle and was the only source to get money, but the scenario is changed. If you have a fat wallet then you can make the gates of knowledge wide open for you. The view to any notion should be given as per the changing vista of the world and not as per the old ethics or scriptures. And even the eon today is money bounded. Strange to digest and difficult to imagine, but this is the blunt truth of this current universe. If you have money then you can spend a whale of time in lively spirits. You can have good friends and advisors around you. If you have knowledge then you would be the advisor, not the beholder getting profited by it. People will love you and will try to hang around with you. Talking on ground zero, one must digest this brutal fact.

Gone are the slow eras of Emperors and Kings. Today is the age of time and money. Earlier the source of money was knowledge, but the vista today is exactly opposite. Yes, the source of knowledge is money today. A poor student with good grades may not get admitted in good colleges, but a student with a fat bank balance can. Money is the central idea even if one wishes to get a job or make a career in any arena of life. You may be shocked to read this: ‘My teacher Mr. Ramesh Sharma, M.A. (Gold medalist) paid 1 lac as bribe to get admitted in our college as a teacher. This is the scenario of today’s world and we have to get ourselves adapted to it. The Darwin theory still haunts our minds and it says, ’Survival of the Fittest’. The globe today is like a roving blade with money as its only axis. The mentors of established multinationals like Reliance, Microsoft are no scholars. They were iconoclastic in their own sense. They risked their capital and placed it at the correct peal of time in the market. The stories of Ford and Wal-Mart are well known. A mediocre family first garners money and then plans their future family. Even the education nowadays, is getting costlier. The machinery of education demands money. Knowledge today is the second half of life, the first and the prime focus today is on money, money and money. If you are economically stable, you can imbibe the best knowledge in your child’s brain. Exemplifying something makes it simpler to digest. So let us take an example…

Envisage a college drop out living in the slums of Washington. He daily uses his skill and knowledge to get the clerical jobs done in a mall. Every day he sums up the balance sheet and gets a dollar. A dollar is not enough to subsist in a city like Washington. One day, he kicks the job and returns home. He shuffles the newspaper hard and comes across an advertisement regarding the sale of a pent house. It is worth 30,000 dollars. He deposits 1,000 dollars as security and purchases the pent house. The rest money is paid in the form of a bank loan. He takes the possession of the pent house and promises to get the loan paid within the month. The next day, he works out to get that pent house at a rate higher than he had paid. He traps a business man and gets dough of 50,000 dollars for it. He repays the loan and gets himself profited with a handsome 20,000 dollars. The moral of the story is money attracts money. The day till he used his knowledge he was paid a dollar a day and the day he used his monetary reserves he gets 20,000. The college drop out is none other than Howard Thompson, the king of all gas companies in America. There are numerous examples, where money is of prime inclination and others are subsidiary. At one of the press conferences Mr. Howard said,” Nothing is free, not even the air you breathe in.” You need money to subsist this life. You need money to get counted in the society. Even money is needed the day you die…

Very often we say ‘Thank you’ to many around us. There is no big deal around this fact, but the way the emotion is passed is of great importance. If you say it with gifts and treats then you would get closer to the one you are dealing with. Today, the emotions between human beings are set as per the gifts they offer to the hosts. The lavish the gift the stronger the bond. The richer are getting divulged into the richest and the poorer are heading closer towards the poverty. You had heard this before and you would be giving it an ear every now and then. But have you pondered over the secret sauce behind it? The reason behind it is the way of working of their respective dads on their respective siblings. The rich dads impart the money oriented substances in their siblings’ minds while the poor dads go for the knowledge. This leads to the repetition of the saga of the gargantuan gap between the rich and the poor. When you go for shopping in a mart you are eyed as a genuine person if your trolley is filled with products. If you rove around with a vacant trolley, you are eyed by the security guards with a Sherlock’s eye. So, the crux is that it is money, money and money all round…!
